We are pleased to announce that the Honors and Awards Committee of the ISA's S&P Department has selected User Centered Design Services' own Ian Nimmo as one of the members to be recognized in 2009

On January 26th, several members of the CCE staff were pleased to attend a keynote luncheon honoring User Centered Design Services' own Ian Nimmo.  The luncheon was hosted by the Artie McFerrin Department of Chemical Engineering at Texas A&M University and followed Mr. Nimmo's presentation to the Instrumentation Symposium being held at the university.  About 200 were in attendance to hear Ian present his paper on control room safety through graphics philosophy standardization. 

 

Ian is founder and President of User Centered Design Services, Inc.  Mr. Nimmo saw a need in the marketplace for overall control room and human factors expertise. To fill this void he founded User Center Design Services, Inc. in 2000.  Ian has over 30 years working experience in the Refining and Petrochemicals Industry.
